Extension Committee

Mission: To assist NED congregations to realize their potential for growth. To start new congregations.

The Extension Committee assists in the organization of new congregations in geographical areas that are not adequately served by existing UU congregations. The Committee maintains a list of resource consultants to help in strengthening local programs and services. Cost of consultation is often negotiable and may include an honorarium and/or travel expenses. The Extension Committee promotes and supports Small Group Ministry in District Congregations. The Committee sponsors workshops at District Meetings and purchases books and tapes for the NED library. The Committee administers the Chalice Lighter Program.
