Ferry Beach Park Association is a seaside camp and conference center founded in 1901 and rooted in the Universalist principles of inherent human worth and dignity, free spiritual exploration, ethical responsibility, and social justice. Located on beautiful Saco Bay in southern Maine, Ferry Beach is 40 miles north of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and 20 miles south of Portland, Maine. Ferry Beach provides a broad range of conferences each season, offering weekend as well as six-day conferences.

Star Island, one of the Isles of Shoals located ten miles at sea off Portsmouth, New Hampshire, has been the site of religious and educational summer conferences since 1897. It is owned and operated by The Star Island Corporation, composed of Unitarian Universalists and members of the United Church of Christ. People of all religious backgrounds are welcomed.

Week-long and weekend conferences are held in the summer on such topics as the Arts, Natural History, Religious Education, International Affairs, and Religion in an Age of Science, and include several family weeks. Brochures and registration information are available in early January.

The North East Leadership School (NELS) offers leadership training for UU lay leaders that is rooted in our own UU history, principles and purposes.  Worship and theology modules are blended with leadership development modules to provide lay leaders a new and stimulating way of seeing the integration of UU theology, spirituality, and leadership.  NELS is usually held during the summer in August.
