Northeast District Unitarian Universalist Ministers Association (UUMA) Membership in the Northeast District Chapter of the UUMA is open to anyone, resident or serving a ministerial role in the District, who is a UUA fellowshipped minister or a current member of the national UUMA. In addition, persons, serving as a contracted or called minister of a NED Unitarian Universalist congregation, shall be eligible for and invited to full membership in the NEDUUMA chapter, and encouraged to apply for membership in the national UUMA. The District Executive, if not otherwise qualified for membership, shall be welcome at all sessions. Students in candidate status shall be welcome as full members. All participants shall subscribe to and abide by the Code of Professional Practice of the UUMA.
The Chapter meets monthly between September and May. A day and a half retreat in September includes a planning session for the year. There is a mid-winter retreat in place of the usual meeting in February or March. These meetings provide continuing education, worship, professional enrichment, support, and an opportunity to consider denominational and ministerial issues .
