Board of Trustees

The NED Board appoints five District Trustees, one each year, to five year terms. The Trustees are charged with controlling the permanent funds and endowments of the NED and seeing that they are invested wisely for the use of the District. District Trustees maintain the records of the permanent funds and report annually to the Board.

Congregations are encouraged to measure the return from their own endowments against the return of the NED. The NED handles in its endowment the portfolio funds from a number of individual congregations. Any NED congregation may invest through the District.
